Re: Code Remediation for pool and cluster tables in A4H

Hi Palas,

As we discussed as part of the plan to move to SoH you should run the code inspector FUNCTIONAL_DB check. One of the checks within that will highlight your code and this statement being an issue, giving you an opportunity to amend the code accordingly ahead of the actual migration.

In any system, deleting from a standard object directly in custom code is not something which should be recommended, least of all directly manipulating the cluster. Perhaps the best approach therefore in light of the move to SoH would be to review your custom code completely in this area. A way forward here for example might be to use a BAPI or re-examine what data is required to be updated where and alternative ways to do that.

Remember things do change and technical or limitations with the solution might not be an issue with newer functionality going forward. Opportunity!

Cheers,

David
