Sidecar approach - usage of BAPI to read

HI All,

As part of side car approach, we can use change the data retrieval logic in the custom programs and on custom tables using the secondary database connection.

However when we use standard function modules or BAPI to read the data from standard tables, can we point them to get the data from secondary DB?
