Hi Elton, I've found what I believe to be the answer. Re-reading Note 2310718, it states clearly that the note (which is very similar to 2285354) is dependent upon SAP_BASIS 750 SP03 and it also says that these methods won't exist in a lower SP.
Check what version of SAP_BASIS you're currently running. If you're below 750 SP03, the methods and parameters won't be there for you to amend.
