Hi Manoj,
Comparatively market has good openings for HANA.
Your ABAP knowledge will be helpful for learning. However, that is not enough to survive in HANA world.
I would like to recommend to learn in following ways.
1. Refresh your SQL knowledge.
2. Learn Data Warehousing (Includes data modelling, star and snowflake schema, ETL, slicing, dicing and so on).
3. Finish open.sap HANA course thoroughly. (no best introduction course so far according to me)
4. Take 1 month trial access in cloud share. (free of cost)
4.1 Practice data modelling with HANA EPM example.
4.2 SQL Scripts
4.3 XS (OData and Javascript)
5. Take AWS access for HANA and practice with different example data sets (99 cents per hour)
If you are good in above 5 points you would have got job.
6. Learn BOBJ suite to enhance your reporting skills.
7. Start working with PAL and AFL libraries.
8. Start building your own HANA application in SAP Market.
Cheer up future HANA consultant.
Regards,
Siva
