at the moment you cannot implement R directly within an AMDP method. But I think it will be possible in the near future.
Here the entry of the help with the supported languages which is just SQLScript at the moment.
Maybe you can try to call an R-procedure within your AMDP method. I have not tried it, but I think it should work.
